Beautiful place to walk. Peaceful and full of life. We saw a great variety of birds and turtles. A safe haven for forest animals and those who need to rest from the crazy world.
1st visit to the Edith L. Moore Nature Sanctuary and Houston Audubon HQ.nnThe Audubon office was open and had various items and resources for sale, and a helpful staff.nThe Sanctuary has over a mile of nature trails, next to Rummel Creek, and is a beautiful, hidden, piece of nature well worth exploring.nYou will see Squirrels, Turtles, and all sorts of Birds, among other critters.
Great trails and lots of shade. The trails are all short so really good for little kids.
Really great place to visit...brah
