Took our son to the BMX part of the park and were we surprised. Our son loved the track, but we had other issues. Upon arrival we noticed the high powered RC cars tearing stuff up. They had a whole open area taken next to the parking lot, a small race track for rc cars I guess, and then started using the BMX area while my son was still riding. When we left we walked past the rc track and my wife and daughter were almost hit by one. This thing was going full throttle 40-50 mph or more and my family had to jump over it to avoid being hit. I exchanged a few words with the guy and he told me I should be watching out because they've been there all day. I didn't know dibs were allowed at a public park. Kind of dangerous with 10 or more of these things full throttling around the place and jumping hills flying 5 foot in the air. Maybe the City of Sugar Land should go take a look.
Just an awesome place to practice back flips and big jumps. It's also got some super cool and semi technical MTB Trails beside it, plenty of fun for all!
Fun place to ride your bike, but it's not a bmx track. Consider checking out a local USA BMX sanctioned race track such as as Pearland BMX.
