Just found out about this place very spiritual paying respect to our ancestors chilling
Very interesting spot to visit. This is where a slave owner announced the freedom of his slaves. I believe his name was Mr. Palmer. Not too sure though.
Little out of the way spot celebrating historic history of freeing slaves. Plaque tells story of Juneteenth celebrations in this area.
They could turn it into an actual park. Swings. Slides. A small trail. Instead of a vast reminder of slave days.
