I scheduled a covid test for today. I accessed the site to cancel. It said my confirmation number was incorrect but it's not. I tried several times. I called a number from the site and it wouldn't let me cancel so I called the pharmacy to see if they could cancel it for me. They said they can't so..... I tried everything possible to cancel my test but it's not possible.

I must admit, I was surprised to see so many bad reviews. However, after reading each review, I suspect the pharmacy staff wasn’t the problem. It appears the individual customer or their insurance plan was the problem, not the staff. I have used this pharmacy for 18 years and each time I am amazed at how organized and professional they are in spite of the large number of phone calls, walk ins and people lined up at the drive thru window. It is a shame that insurance and corporate policies have forced pharmacies to function more like a fast food restaurant than an essential medical service. Sure their have been times I’ve had to wait on a refill but most of the time either myself, my doctor or my insurance was at fault. Sometimes while waiting on a prescription I just watch in amazement how many different people, with different personalities and different medical conditions they have to deal with. Recently I counted 17 customers in a 20 minute time frame. Between the drive up window, walk ins and phone calls a total of 17 people all needing insurance explications, last minute refills or to speak with the pharmacist. Not once did the staff demonstrate anything but empathy and a positive attitude. Yet every day they are forced to deal with pay cuts, longer working hours and customers that think their needs are more Important. Customers that like to think they merely had a simple “request” and can’t see past themselves to realize they had demands. Demands that they should be dealt with first and foremost. Not stopping to think that the person on the phone or in line behind them might be dealing with a progressive debilitating disease or in a rush to get home to take care of a sick spouse or family member. I applaud the staff at the South Shore CVS in League City and simply want to thank them for their hard work and commitment. And on behalf of my neighbors and fellow customers, please accept our apologies for not being more appreciative and understanding of what you have to deal with everyday. THANK YOU!

Horrendous! I have only continued to visit this pharmacy because I keep forgetting to ask my Dr. to change it. Every time I go here to pick up a prescription it isn't ready. Even if I receive a text notification saying my prescription is ready, it isn't ready when I get there. Today my son's Dr. called in a prescription for him. I called them to ask when it would be ready. I was told 15 minutes, but I needed to be sure to have my insurance information when I arrived. I arrived 20 minutes later and the prescription wasn't even started. They said because of an insurance problem. I would've given it to them over the phone if they would've asked. But they said they would be sure it was ready and to bring it when I came. When I asked the staff about this they were very rude and told me to just have a seat and they would let me know when it was ready. Meanwhile my very sick child was sitting in the car waiting because I told him I would be in and out. This is not my only bad experience with this pharmacy. I've had many. I will be sure to remember to change pharmacies and never go back there. I have used the Walgreens across the street before, and they had stellar service. I will be using them in the future.

This is the WORST CVS. If you have an extra care card and try to use extra bucks or coupons they only work 1/10 times if even that. The men employees are rude and disrespectful too. Sucks because this cvs is so close to me. Take your business to Walgreens across the street or drive to the CVS off egret bay and highway 96.
