Nice place to camp overall and close-by, plenty of sticks to have a good fire without hauling in wood.nNegatives: tried to pay fee with cash and the machine ate my $10 and turned off. Ended up having to restart and pay with card so I was out the extra money. There were plenty of spots but some people scattered their stuff at neighboring sites to keep other from setting up and then a group of teenagers came at dinner time, took the spot 30 ft away, and played pop music much of the night. Kind-of ruined the otherwise good atmosphere.

Well worth it. A great local place. But the price went from from 7$/night up to 20$/night.

Nice quiet lake park. Great family get away.

Awesome relaxed park with boat access, a small beach, and a single floating dock. Access road is an older and somewhat narrow road, technically wide enough for 2 vehicles but not ideal for large pickups with wide boat trailers. Great spot to launch a kayak or sailboat due to the reduced traffic and more time can be spent loading/unloading. Does get busy on summer weekend afternoons. Boat trailers often have to park lined up along the road during those times.nnCamping area is very peaceful with basic amenities. This is more of a fisherman paradise than it is conducive to loud parties due to the layout.

Great place to camp. Had a lot of fun here. Wish there was some running water. There are hose bibs but they do not work.
