Great family friendly park! First, I LOVE the layout of the park. It is just small enough that you can hop from area to area without burning your feet...which any Texan will tell you, that's a GOOD thing! Second, I was really impressed with how many age groups they were able to accommodate here. My 3 year old had as much fun as my 6 year old! All the teens and adults were enjoying themselves too! I love that there weren't severely revealing bathing suits or alcohol. Third, I felt like it was a good variety of activities to fill a whole day. We spent 5 hours, easy, and probably could have gone longer if we wouldn't have run out of snacks!nnThe only negative for me was pricing. Most extras (food, drink, and souvenirs) seemed to be way overpriced, but that comes with the nature of these kinds of places. The do sell cooler passes so you CAN mitigate huge park food costs by bringing your own food, which is the redeeming factor for me.nnOverall, we will definitely be back to HF-Roanoke!

This place was so much fun! Me and my son went and i felt like a kid again. Adults can go everywhere the kids go. I loved it.. and great priced! Will definitely be back❤

It was wonderful until they started allowing other parks to visit for $5 dollars. Now the lines are long, the wave pool is so full you cannot move. They have a basketball court that use to be wonderful now just to crowded. I bought a season pass here because it was family safe, now it’s our of control. I will not be buying season passes next year., I will suggest my friends not to also. What a joke!

It was crowded at all and the end of season discounted price was great. I was disappointed that they were out of the pineapple whip. I mentioned they should take down the sign at the entrance when they are out but the teenage young man up front didn't quite understand that reasoning.ud83dude09

I take my son here frequently and it isn't very crowded. The only down sides are the cleanliness of the park. It starts out clean so if you get there when they first open you are good to go. They do not maintain the cleanliness throughout the day though and the water in the lazy river and wave pool get pretty gross. We usually leave around 1pm because anything after that is too much too handle. They were doing good with social distancing at the beginning of the 2020 summer season but now they let every crowd each other in lines and the lifeguards and staff are not wearing their masks half the time.
