I've been going to this lake since I was a child. I love it here. The new park is great and there is another one back by the nature trail. The sidewalk is now really well lit the whole way around for evening runs. Also, my kids absolutely love it here. We like to feed the ducks and watch the turtles sunbathing along the edges of the lake.
I like Towne lake. The recreation area is usually bit crowded but the walking path around the lake is nice. Recommend for a relaxed walk
Nice place to fish, I caught some large mouth bass and catfish from there. They seem to have a decent amount of fish there.
Nice place to go and unwind an enjoy the outdoors. Good for kids also
Huge beautiful trees providing big shades. Lots of space for kids including sand volleyball courts, playgrounds. An astounding view of lake that you can enjoy watching while having a picnic on large tables or jog around. Public restrooms make it easier for parents to enjoy the time spent there:). You can go fishing as well. In sum, we loved it there!
