I booked a pavilion for a family get together at Brazos river county park. It was a beautiful green full of old huge trees. It was very calm and peaceful at the park not crowded at all. Pavilion was a huge size too. Kids loved running around and walking on the trails. Bathrooms needed to be cleaned otherwise park itself is very nice.
The boardwalks have not been kept up or repaired at all recently. Other than that the grounds are nice.
This park have covered pavilions , several picnic areas with tables and grills, extended playground areas.
Sharing to say it’s temporarily closed. The parksnoffice told us it’s open, drive 30 mins to find out it’s not.
Wedding chapel historical and beautiful. Great acoustics. Country style with dance hall for reception or parties. Great location for photos. Gazebo also
