Great place for all sports, recreational activities, and celebrations. The forest areas surrounding the soccer and baseball fields have fun mountain bike trails from which you can see the cool graffiti on the olmos dam. The fields can be reserved for organized activities, but anyone can use them if they’re empty. There is a fairly long but easy walking/running/biking trail that goes up to the Quarry and loops around the fields (the part around the fields is a little less than 1 mile long). The park includes a playground and many group gathering locations for celebrations well shaded by big trees, and there are usually many families taking advantage of that at once. Never a shortage of parking even though sometimes many people come at once. There is a restroom and water fountain open to the public as well.
