Have always loved going to this park. Lots of areas to eat a picnic and for children to play. A very nice walking track and ducks and geese live at the lake. Fun way to spend a beautiful day.
Kids love it! But a suggestion would be have misters by the bench areas for adults as the sun is murder on really hot days that way parents can enjoy the water fun as well.
It was beautiful! I didn't see any trash laying around, bathrooms were clean, and my children loved the playground...afterwards my husband and I walked along the path that was .5 mile long and went over some bridges that seemed new. Geese and ducks were everywhere! And there's a rock edge along the water so you don't have to worry about the ground caving and falling in. There is a dog park and splash pad when summer comes along too.
My little girl loves this place. It's a cool place to take your family on a sunny day.
