I brought in a chick that was about 2 days old, and they took him in right away. The woman who helped me was very sweet and knowledgeable, and I'm glad the little guy has a safe place to stay. The process of dropping him off was quick and easy, just filling out a one-page form about basic information, explaining how I came to find him, and that was that! Highly recommend, very nice people.
I'm so happy that this place is here. A feral cat that I am trying to tame and place in a home brought me a baby Opossum. I had no clue so I called 311 and was referred to WRR. I googled what was necessary to keep the little possum alive and healthy until they opened in the morning. They were more than happy to take the baby and will keep it healthy until it can be released back into the wild.
Fantastic place. I found a baby opposum in my backyard, drove from New Braunfels to San Antonio to drop off the little guy. They were very knowledgeable.
These people really care. So glad they are here. Two for two, I have been so pleased with the opossum help!
Wonderful people took the little birdy I found and they seem to know there stuff :D
