They changed to Valero;nCard reader failed to function and clerk could not do stop-order pre-pay

Restroom was clean and staff was very friendly.

My experience here was not a good one. I am new to town. I chose to be a regular here, because I love shell gas. It’s all I will get.nI found myself needing a second job. So I came here, to see if they still had a position still open.nI happen to be talking to the owner that day about the position. I told him I needed a second job, and that I need him to work with my current schedule. We talked about the position. Then the pay..... OMG so low! $7.75? ud83eudd23 what a joke!nBut I agreed, because I did my math already before applying.nI then get a text from him yesterday with a schedule that was completely opposite of what we agreed on.nI then text my schedule to him again... telling him it’s a set schedule and does not change.nHe started sending aggressive text, wanting to know when I could be there.nI told him I can come in an hour after I get off work.nHe then again sends me a schedule that does not work with my schedule. Knowing and having my schedule. Demanding I be there. Then sending me messages threatening the me with the possibility of losing the position.nI agreed I will come in when my shift is up with my current job. He agreed I could. Then he sends me messages wanting to know where I’m at. Of course I’m not going in, because we agreed I would start next week. Due to doctors appointments.nHe again sends me messages threatening the position.nThen he sends me a message say bye we don’t need you. You are reading my messages but not answering..... (thx IPhone) not!nSo we are done with you.nnI finally message him back explaining what we agreed on and that I was at the doctors office.nI then pass on the position telling him, I do not want to work for someone that goes back on what we agreed on. You are being demanding, pushy, threatening me with the position, and trying to schedule me on a day we did not agree on.nnHe then messaged me back - thanks byenLike as if I was a girl that broke his heart.nSo unprofessional.nNot someone I would work for. I have values.

The gas is high qualitynI actually get better mileage with Shell. This shell is not the cleanest inside or out. I did not risk going into the restroom, if the store is dirty the lavatories most likely also unclean. Sadly, quite often the pumps are out of order or the ones that do work are ridiculously slow. They have/had a car wash built yet it only worked for a little while. Now people park there and it's showing the signs of neglect in the Texas heat.

Good station customer service could be a little better
