This is one of the most relaxing places to go and stay for a few days we’ve went every summer for the past 3 years.They provide shower house and restrooms as well.It has a beautiful view of the lake at almost every campsite and you can go swimming whenever and wherever you want during the day and it’s great for fishing with friends,family,or just yourself.The host’s are all very friendly.Its a very relaxing and joyful place.

If I could I would give this place 1 star. Reason for this is the people who run this camp ground are really rude and disrespectful. My wife and I were sitting next to the fire with our 3 year old. Well the host walks up literally raising his voice saying for us to keep it down and stop chopping wood. I told him we weren't and he replies you want me to call back up. I asked him what he meant and he points at my son and tells us he needs to keep it down. I then ask him to calm down and he says again you want me to call back up do you know who I am. Well after that we packed our stuff and left.

The campground is surrounded by beautiful terrain and lake BUT the amenities are subpar. Dogs have to be kept on leash (what’s the point of being outside and keeping your dog tied up?), and the staff are rough. Beautiful area but lighten up!

We just completed our first camping trip there are thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything was well maintained, the people were friendly and the campsites are spacious and affordable. Easy access to the beautiful South Holston Lake. Will definitely come again.
