I just so happened to find this campground thanks to Google. The reviews were mostly good but I don't see why they weren't better. The heated bathrooms were my favorite part seeing as how I stayed in a tent in 20 degree weather, it was a life saver going in there to warm up. The campground is well lit at night but not bright enough to bother you. The campers here are just great! We made lifelong connections here with other campers. I could not have asked for anything better. The lake is beautiful. The pool, hot tub, and restaurant was closed the whole time we were here and still had a great time. Would recommend this campground to everyone and anyone. This place is truly special. Thanks Davy Crockett Campground!
Great place tucked into the woods on the Cumberland Plateau. Very pretty in the snow we get here.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this site. What we liked is the great showers provided, the access to the laundry building, night lighting and the old style buildings. We would definitely camp here again.
I have been here for a week now and it has been so peaceful. I am very grateful that I have found this place in my travels.
We stayed in the Eagle Cabin for two nights. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous! The cabin was stocked with everything we needed and even stuff we didn't know we needed. The staff provided extra towels as soon as we asked. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you!!!
