From the adorable cabin we stayed in to the ahhhhmazing rafting down the Ocoee, we had the best time! I have rafted down the Ocoee with another company in the past and Bigfoot blows their experience out of the water! Big shoutout to our guide Lance for making sure we had an amazing time on the water! It's currently the beginning of rafting season and I would highly recommend coming this early in the season if you want a little less people in the water. haha and because there was just the two of us in our boat, We literally sat in every row of the raft at some point for different thrills! To these guys, you aren't just a number.... having a great experience is their goal and you can tell they really have a passion for this job. ud83dudc4dud83cudffbud83cudf0ahighly recommend their company. I'd give them 10 stars if I could!
As an ex Navy SEAL, I know a little bit about professionalism, good equipment, trained operators, risk adversity and excitement. Our rafting trip with Bigfoot exceeded my expectations and it was that great balance of thrill and safety. Even my timid girlfriend had a blast. From the arrival to a very nice facility, being greeted, oriented, given the gear, shown the nice changing rooms, to the scenic bus ride to the river launch every aspect was well-paced and enjoyable. THEN, the beautiful and fun-filled trip down the river. The guides/captains are all local and the best in the business. They provide a great variety of tranquil enjoyment and adrenaline pumping excitement while safely navigating down the ever-changing river challenges.nAfterwards, there are spectacular pictures available of your boat crew in multiple locations and positions that can be emailed to you for a very reasonable price. I mean keepers for framing, Facebook, Instagram etc. etc. We will be back after Memorial Day to run the whole river with Bigfoot. We are the couple in the back of the raft.
Owners are very friendly. Laid back atmosphere. Difficult but fun disc golf course! Highly recommended!!!!
We went on the 2 hour trip. Me, my wife, daughter and her friend. We laughed the entire trip. The guys who work there are upbeat and love what they do. They are professional and safety is of utmost importance to them. Jerry was our guide and he’s extremely knowledgeable of the river and knows what, when and where to do a maneuver. We’ll definitely come again!!!!! There are a couple of slow moments and that’s when you’re able to absorb the beauty of this area. One of the most beautiful places I’ve seen!!!
If you're looking for real white water rafting with experienced guides then look no further. Jerry and Trevor have over 20 years experience, and all their other guides are 10+ years. Not to mention they are passionate about what they do, and they are so much fun! Their facility is also very nice and super clean. The boats and equipment are basicaly brand new and in great shape. I had never gone white water rafting, and Jerry made me feel super safe. I'd also like to take a moment to say that they also went really out of their way to accomodate me and my husband's needs. I'm currently undergoing chemotherapy and was nervous about being around a lot of people during this pandemic. But Jerry took us on a separate boat and even in a separate vehicle so that we didn't have to be on the bus with everyone else. Both he and Trevor were extremely understanding and compassionate while answering all of our questions, concerns, and needs. We will definitely be coming back and bringing friends and family with us. Bigfoot Ocoee really cares about their customers. They are not just a tourist attraction. Their prices are very reasonable and their photographers did a great job capturing our experience as well. I cannot say enough good things about them! Just go have an adventure!
