Spent the afternoon here last summer. Loved it
Although I enjoyed the remoteness of the location, the vault toilet had such a smell that we couldn’t get away from. We weren’t right by it, but I am guessing too close. We will return to this campground, but will stay far from the bathrooms. Relaxing campground and nice space in between the sites.
Pretty ok place, but were visited by a Ranger and we're told that we couldn't even have our hammocks up in the tree that was literally 8 inches from our picnic table. He said that everything had to be inside of the wooden barriers, which makes no sense at all. I didn't come to the woods for you to smother me with all of these nonsense, powertrip rules. We got a warning citation, which made pretty good kindling for our fire. ud83eudd37♂ufe0f
Absolutely fantastic, as always. Great place for young kids to splash around in the river.
Beautiful River nearby. The one flowing around the campground is just a small tributary to the larger river. Half to a third of the campsites have no trees or privacy at all:-(
