Beautiful Area, kid friendly, pet friendly.nAmazing place to visit, And. The kids always LOVE feeding the huge Carp out of a baby bottle.
I can't vouch for the quality of the campground but don't call the LISTED reservation number to make a reservation, the woman answering the phone says, this isn't where you make a reservation. I asked for the number to call to make a reservation thinking the website # was outdated. She informed me this was the number to call to make a reservation. I said, but you can't make a reservation, she said correct we haven't done that for six years. I was a little confused so to be clear, this is the number to call to make a reservation, correct? Yes, she said. . I said but you can't make a reservation? Yes, she said. I give up at this point.
Always a nice place to go. Has splash pad, multiple shelters for picnics. Boat launch area. The marina store and get to feed fish. Camping sites are decently priced. Accommodations for campers. Only issue is when we did camp there kids kept driving golf carts around as fast as they can blasting music on their phones while driving they text one almost hit our truck. Other then unruly kids its great and we visit often
Very cheap rentals.
Really laid back and clean. Disk golf for those that play and playground and splash pad for the kids. We hqve done several birthday parties here and its always been a good time.
