I’ve been camping at Horse Creek my entire life! As a toddler we’d camp here every other weekend. As an adult, I even met my husband here. Each time we’ve come over the last few years, the experience has gotten worse. Loud vehicles cruise up the dead end road, that goes along the entire campground, and blast their music or purposely rev their engines, at all hours of the night. Trashy people camp here and are still yelling at their kids at nearly 2am. At 1:30am, we had headlights shining straight into our tent for 10 minutes. They’ve woken both my 1 year old and toddler. Until a gate is put up and shut and quiet times are enforced, this campground with continue to get worse and worse.

Be sure to bring a splitting maul, awesome creek access from most campsitesnAs well as Awesome hiking trails. Definitely a family favorite
