I bought a 2007 Ford Explorer a week after I have had nothing but problems out of this vehicle I had to replace both Cadillac Converters then a few days later found out the oil pan had a leak fixed it and then not a week later the spark plugs and coil packs went out replaced them and month after (currently) I had it over heating so I broke into it and found out the thermostat was stuck closed so I got a replacement and when I removed the thermostat it was rusted completely so I fought to get it out when I did and replaced it I refilled it with coolant and started the vehicle and it started pouring out from the water pump after a three hour fight with rusted bolts and a fan clutch that wouldn’t release due to the very poor condition it was kept in I thought I could shock it loose and when I got the fan off I saw chips on the fan clutch threaded park from when it had been attempted before with no luck it’s obvious from the damage I found they tried and when they failed they put stop leak in it and sold it to me! (Still haven gotten the fan clutch loose and the replacement is over 400 dollars) and they also never filled the tags or taxes on the vehicle so that was another expense I had to be responsible for and as I found out is also illegal? So beware the band aid their cars together enough to make them seem ok to sell but I defiantly got a lemon and so far without the fan clutch witch I think I’ll end up having to buy has totaled for 6,585 pretty steep for a 3,000 dollar SUV I only wish I could post pics here bought this outright so everyone could see what I’ve gone through
