Very close to the trail. Sites are somewhat spread out but are in clusters, so you will be near some folks. Bears at the site were obviously used to humans as you couldn't spook them off. Highly trafficked campsite because it is along the AT and other trails.
Awesome large site. Clean and good views when the leaves are gone. Nice community fire pit area.
