My family loves this campground. Friendly staff, beautiful farm and the BEST river access. I love sitting in the river in my beach chair, but keep an eye open for snakes. We visit here several times each year! Best campground by far for someone wanting to enjoy nature!

Loved this place. We like a more woodsy experience instead of the big parking lot feel. This place fit the bill. Their was a terrible storm when we were there and the owners jumped into help with any issues that come with torrential rain doing anything they could to help. Nice owners. A mix of tent campers and RVs. I would recommend to anyone that wants shade, peace and quiet.

Little River Campground is a very nice campground. With the assistance of Kim, I was able to find a nice spot site 223 by the river. It has trees so there is quite some shade where I was at. I spent an evening here for the Great Smoky's Half Marathon and it was the perfect location just three miles up the road from the actual event. When I checked in, the ladys at the front office were awfully sweet. One kind lady even asked me to join them for a Spaghetti dinner down the road. I should of taken her on that offer! I was briefed where my spot was and it was easy to find. Checkout is at 11am but I bet if I had asked for an extra hour they would of permitted me to do so. They are really sweet people. I really like my spot which was 223 and the one to the left of it which would of been 222. Nice shade from the trees and the ground was clean and well maintained.nThe bathrooms were nice and clean as well. I enjoyed my hot shower after the race. Every staff member of the campground were too kind. I would gladly coms back again. My only gripe is that the group to the right of me decided it was okay to drink and laugh/talk loudly into the later hours of the night. Im talking about past 10pm. Families are trying to sleep and you get a rude group to ruin the stay. Wonderful. I would suggest having a number to call so that I can notify the office of the issue. I spoke to another couple who were quite upset about it but this is NOT the park's fault. Please be mindful of your neighbors. This is not your backyard to do as you please. Little River is a blessing of a campground that I hope gets the attention it deserves. Very affordable and accomodating. Also I might say too that it is less congested than most other campgrounds I have been to so that is a bonus. Thank you Little River Campground!

We tent camped here a bunch over summer/fall 2020 and then rented a cabin Jan 2021. They have everything you need, nothing you don't. The sites are clean (the bathhouses/restrooms can get a little rough in peak season but nothing unmanageable), it's in a great location, and they have crazy-reasonable rates! The cabin was perfect for our little family mini-vacation (the living/kitchenette area separating bedrooms is great). Everything was clean although I suggest bringing slippers to wear inside - you're in a cabin by the river so its impossible to keep the floors completely dust and debris free. The bathroom in the cabin was shining though! BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS and we also brought extra pillows and blankets but some are provided and everything was fresh. Most of their perfect little cabins are pet friendly. We also checked out The Abbey in Townsend at their recommendation. Its a neat place! They had a great selection of local brews - ciders and beer, and a decent menu. I had a supreme flat bread pizza with super fresh ingredients (would order more crispy next time) and oh my the pretzels and beer cheese! Can't wait for spring and more tent camping!

Small campground with lots of trees. Well maintained. They offer tubing, Saturday night wagon rides, a small playground and clean restrooms. The creek is awesome! Our site backed up to woods. $50 per night. Water, electric and sewer. Four stars because the store was sparsely stocked and only one employee to check folks in, ring up store items and take phone reservations. We would return again.
