Blount Memorial Hospital

I have been going to BMH for 61 years now and never once have I been treated with anything other than respect. I was always treated, maybe not as fast as I wanted to be, but as fast as they could. As you are sitting out in waiting room waiting to be seen you are concerned about what's wrong with you, but you don't see all the ambulance that come in with stroke, heart attacks, or very serious accidents, be patient they will get you back there as quickly as possible,and yes some times the rooms are not as clean as they should be but do you want to sit out there and wait while housekeeping comes in and cleans between every patient or do you want to be seen by the doctor so you can get yourself treated.

Adam in triage was amazing...soo kind and caring..and Dr Mike in the ER was. Awesome.. Thank u for being so caring to my dad..(He is being admitted for a change in meds..just to watch him)..As I sit here with mom and dad...I just want to say GOD BLESS YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE..ud83dudc9eud83dudc96

All my Doctors are there. Plus I've always gotten very good care every time I've been there. All the staff is very helpful and sweet.

Arrived at the ER and was taken back and processed right away. The staff was professional and courteous and I was promptly placed in a room. Medical personnel came in within 10 minutes and their course of diagnostics was explained. The diagnosis was spot on with medication prescribed all within a two hour window. Having to go to the ER can be nerve racking and stressful but their professionalism was outstanding. Thank you Blount Memorial.

When dealing with people and the scare of a hospital or e.r. visit I feel you will have as good or bad experience as you make of it. I treat the staff with respect and appreciate how busy they are, and in return i remind them that this is all new and scary to me...and when i do they have ALWAYS slowed down and reassured me and filled me in on whats going on. Sometimes we just need to breathe and remember we are a team.
