Gatlinburg seems like a nice town and I appreciate the Christmas atmosphere. But this “ski resort” completely turned me off to coming back here, hoping for a fun family winter retreat. The lines.... there is a line for everything at this place! No availability to buy a ticket ahead of time for anything (except for tubing) including their sky tram (which they basically force you to take), so right out the gate you already have spent an hour in line. Then you get there and you are greeted by another line, and a worker telling you that you’ll probably be in line for about two hours to get a lift ticket and rental equipment (sadly the worker is NOT exaggerating)! After all was said and done, we spend 4 hours (start to slope) navigating through this process. Terrible. Their “systems “ for which they do EVERYTHING are so outdated, it’s unbelievable! So many things could have been sped up by doing some things on line and being able to make reservations on line. Sadly, we will be looking elsewhere the next winter get away we take. I am hoping this review saves the disappointment my family experienced.

What a great place. Amazing tramway guide he was so nice. God bless him. The place is nice and we'll kept. Great prices as well. Can't wait December so we can go again !!

Neat little theme park overlooking Gatlinburg. Kid friendly for families; but entertaining for adults as well, especially with beer being available throughout the park. The Tram ride to and from the park offers the best scenic views in the area, and the chair lifts following closely behind. The Tram and park tickets are sold separately and it can add up quickly, but overall I felt like it was easily worth the cost. The park closes a bit early, which makes it feel like you have to rush to experience everything, but I look forward to going back for seasonal attractions such as skiing and tubing in the winter.

First off I would have to say that we did not have any issues with customer service. Every one was extremely nice and helpful. The snowboard instructor my son had was extremely patient and nice. However, the organization does not flow well. You can't buy lift tickets ahead of time so there is a long line immediately walking through the doors. There is no social distancing whatsoever. They make an effort one time of asking people to have a mask with no enforcing of the rule. After paying to rent snowboard equipment we stood in line to get boots and when we got the boots they were soaked from the previous day. We were told all the boots were soaked and there is no refund. After waiting In all the lines and getting equipment you're looking at about 2 hours at least before you hit the slopes. And that's if you get there before they open. If they updated there system to being more computerized instead of a pen and paper system it may run more smoothly.

Visited 03/2021: A lot of fun for people from all ages. Staff was very helpful and went above and beyond expectations. Offered other attractions in exchange for the tram tickets which was under maintenance. First time snow tubing and was amazing. This is even one of the places where snow tubing is available until very late; which is very convenient since people can do it without having very cold weather. They also offer plenty of activities for the while family in both winter and summer. I guess they could update the place a little bit since it starts to look old. Also not healthy food options available on site.
