Ever since my partner started flying 2 or 3 times a month I have been coming here very frequently. It is such an easy in easy out parking airport. Also, since I park most times, it is great for charging my new electric car.. for free! I like that I can walk all around the airport for exercise. The airport on both floors is always clean and neat and I am proud to call Knoxville my home town since 2002.
Small but friendly airport with American, United and Delta having daily service from the airport.
They have made the check in process so much easier and pleasant. I like the fact that they make special effects for seniors over 70. Being able to leave you sweater or jacket and shoes on may not mean much to the younger people but is a blessing to them.
Nice, smaller airport. Easy drop-off and pick-up. There are some food vendors here and a store. There is also a nice art display to view while waiting for a flight. Smooth security check-in and bag pick-up. I really only fly one airline from here so I don't know what other destinations are offered by the different airlines. The airport itself is located in Alcoa, TN and is well marked and easy to find.
Small well organized Airport.nI had two non-supportive customer treatment by 2 separate Airline representatives there. Seems they go out of their way to make sure they can't help you, they won't be flexible, nor their own customer service policies to make life easier on themselves no matter what's going on with their customer, and they're so happy to have power to tell you no. Yet TSA and Airport workers always helpful with good customer care skills. -Lorena
