They are good at cutting hair the way they want but didn't seem to be able to cut my hair the way I wanted. If you're young and want a hipster haircut you'll love this place. Me? Three tries and I'm out of here.
Update - Kevin, the owner, called me and expressed his disappointment with my review. Not in a confrontational way but in a manner that said, "We're better than this and I want to make it right with you." That prompts me to up my rating from 3 to to 4 stars. I'll report back as things change.
3 Nov 2020 - I returned to Black Cat without informing them who I was because I wanted no special treatment. I was pleased that the staff was ready to listen to what I wanted and took care to make it so. I've been back enough times that I feel confident in giving them all 5 stars. They do care about their customers and provide a pleasant experience as well as a great haircut!

Went into this place. Had Krista do her thing. Ever since I've been getting compliment after compliment. She did a fantastic job.
I've been going to Black Cat for about a year now and every one in there does a stellar job. The atmosphere is excellent and they're all great people. It's definitely worth it.
