Nice scenery for a short walk. We went while it was cold so it might be buggy in warmer temps. Good places for some camera shots too. Multiple places to park along the road. No facilities that we saw. (December)
Such a cool place to explore and quick detour from 95! The cypress roots are so interesting.
My ex-husband and I use this park as a halfway point to meet between Charleston and Raleigh. We let our daughter play at the park before she comes home with the other parent. The small playground area is pretty old, but it does the job and there are rarely other people there mid-saturdays, when we are there. Mosquitoes are insane in the summer though!
Never fails in giving me some peace of mind, definitely worth seeing.
Love this little park in the woods . 4 swings a slide and a little climbing area with a lot of nature.
