Have been to venture foods many times, good selection for a small town store, prices are fair and the staff are helpful.
Prices are a little high on some dry goods, but the meat and produce section are top notch!

For a tiny town market, Venture sure tries its best. They've often got some of the latest products that you'd find in higher-end stores; meanwhile, their produce, especially their apples, look good most of the time. There's only a few occasions where we've been disappointed with the produce. But we're a small town, so we're lucky to get fresh produce at all.nnThe meat selection is usually satisfactory to mouth-watering, depending upon the day. (We're borderline vegetarians, so the meat selection often goes unnoticed. Except for the chicken, which is generally pretty good. I know I love to grab the split-breast chicken and boil it down to get the meat to make chicken noodle soup, chicken enchiladas, etc. Damned good.)nnAnyway, Venture is wuite well stocked for a small town store, and as long as they don't run out of Diet Coke, they're my store! ud83dude09
