So I walked in and I was trying to tie my shoe when the owner Matt Rowan came in vigorously and pushed my down and proceeded to call me the N word... what a horrible experience! 1 star!
Highly unprofessional. Owner is NOT reputable. I strongly recommend NOT using this business.
I wanted to have my locks changed. This dude showed up in white robes and a pointy hat? What gives...???
I lost the keys to my 1994 Ford F350 pickup. I live in the country, a 30-minute drive from American Lock Shop. The owner answered and came out on a same-day service. When he got here, he realized he did not have the necessary style of key blank to make the key on-site. He took the door lock out and headed back to his shop. In the meantime, we found the keys. I called and told him and he said he would be back the next day to reinstall the door lock. I thanked him and told him I would rather not inconvenience him further and would bring the truck to him, which I did the following day. I intended to pay him for his time and trouble but he refused, asking me to consider using him next time I needed a service. I will definitely call him for any locksmith needs and I definitely recommend him to anyone else in his service area.
I called this establishment because I needed new locks on three black steel doors. Mr Rowan arrived and said he would not work on them. I asked if the fact that they were steel posed a problem, his reply: the steel isn't the problem, I just hate anything black.
