Airco Service

My A/C was not blowing cold and called for service. After showing up they found that my thermostat was bad. They told me it was costing $248. That amount was labor due to my A/C was only 2.6 years old. My technician said the thermostat was under warranty but not labor. He didnt have my thermostat on his truck so he had to go back to the office to get one. I called the office and complained about the labor charge because I dont think that amount was fair due to it would only take less than 30 minutes to replace the new one. They advised me that I have to pay for the tech time to go back to town to get the thermostat that was not on his truck. I continued to explain that it was not my fault he didn't have the thermostat on the truck and should not have to pay for his time traveling. I was then offered a 10% discount. My opinion is that Airco should have looked at my account to see what work that has been done in the past and would have seen we have had to replace 2 other times. Airco installed my A/C unit in June 2018. The $248 was labor charge for 30 minutes worth of work. The service technician was professional and knowledgeable

I bought a new house and during inspection we found the heating unit wasn't working. Per the contract the owners had to have it repaired. They contracted with Airco and was told it was repaired. Once we closed on the house and started moving in we quickly realized it was not working. I contacted the company and let them know. I asked for them to come out and look at it. They said they would have to charge me. I explained that they did a repair and it wasn't fixed. The lady told me she found it funny we would wait a month before contacting them and that it most likely broke again. I let her know the reason why it was a month was because we were closing on the house and had just got the keys and we're moving in. She was very ride and said that they would only come out to look at it of I paid them to come out. I asked them why they weren't willing to come and take a look at what they missed and she told me they didn't miss anything and that it was working and they weren't coming out for free. I called Vickrey Heating and they came out and found they had wired the thermostat wrong and that only the heat strips were working and not the heat pump. Definitely don't use these people. They may have just made a mistake but they aren't willing to even look to see if they did without trying to swindle more money out of you to fix what they already charged to supposedly fix

We arrived home Friday around 6 to find our house was at 40 degrees. We had great service from Airco previously, so we called the Langley office. Their tech called us back within 10 minutes, said he was in Grove but could be at our house in 45 minutes. He got to work immediately and we had the heat back on within the hour. I appreciate the great service after hours on the weekend!

Dewey and his crew are the best. Their work is phenomenal and they are very professional. My HVAC unit looks great and works even better. Each day during the install they cleaned up like they were not even here. One day they provided space heaters for the one night our furnace was down. I would definitely recommend the Airco crew. Ask for Dewey if you want the best.

Brandon M. did an excellent job. He was very knowledgeable, informative and polite. He also explained how I can fix a separate issue since the part is not immediately available. I will request him for any future matters without reservation.
