Absolutely a great training environment. I was only in town for a few weeks, but everyone there was great to train with. Professor Ben is so knowledgeable and very down to earth.nnCoaches Justin, Aaron, and Vanessa are also great instructors. I learned little details about moves I have known that increased my success rate quite a bit.nnI would recommend to anyone training or wanting to get started to give Red River BJJ a shot. The gym is kept incredibly clean and sanitized.

I spent a month in Wichita Falls for work and decided to visited Red River BJJ. Professor Ben, Coach Vanessa and everyone training there were in incredibly welcoming and respectful. Professor Ben’s technique demonstrations were clear and easy to follow, and the amount of time for drilling was perfect. All around a great academy.

This is an excellent place to train jiu jitsu for people of all ages and experience. My daughter and I train here, and it has improved our conditioning and self-defense capability. I've watched my daughter moving past her shyness and becoming more assertive and sure of herself.nnThe school takes great care to train children with good technique and an eye toward safety while fostering a positive, encouraging atmosphere. For adults, the same. The school encourages all participants. You want to casually approach the art for exercise? Can do. You want to become a more involved hobbyist? Check. You want to compete and become a beast on the mats? They got you covered. The goal is to train hard and improve.nnWith no real wrestling, grappling, or fighting experience, I was nervous about joining, but the professor, coaches, and students were all welcoming and quick to make me feel like a part of the team. If you think you might be even just a little bit interested in martial arts, check these guys out. I'm glad we did.

Professor Ben has created a great, open minded, non political BJJ school rooted in solid fundamentals. Was there on military TDY 3 months and was treated like I was one of the family there. Highly recommend for anyone in the area and also a perfect gym for military personnel passing through.
