Absolutely great place! Management friendly, helpful, office well supplied w food & items. Our deluxe patio site was superb w stamped concrete, table, chairs, 2 grills. Sites are well maintained and clean. Saw area patrolled regularly. Easy access from I-40 w gas and places to eat, close to shopping. Campground well lit w clean restrooms and showers! Playground, pool and pet area! Country in the city. Staff helpful and caring! Highly recommend!

We paid for a week at an RV site but noticed upcoming weather would be bad, so we paid for a cabin upgrade. The cabin was under maintenance so waited for them to finish. They said the beds were torn up, so we waited for that to be fixed. When they let us in, we slept for the night and woke up to find a bed bug infestation. Somehow after replacing the bed and cleaning the cabin for us, they missed a massive bed bug infestation as well as leaving us a dirty room. My relatives had severe bed bug bites and our belongings were compromised. Due to limited office hours (4 hours open a day), it took 1 hour and 30 minutes for any reply, and when we originally asked for assistance, we were told to call when the office opened 4 hours later.nnIt amazes me how they were able to send someone into the room to fix and clean it, while managing to miss a large bed bug infestation as well as leave us a disgusting room.nnUPDATE: We received a refund as compensation as well as some quarters to do laundry with. Additionally, they said we could stay for as long as we wanted However, due to my 1-Star review, the manager who was unable to make time to see us previously called us and told us that “if we were so unhappy here, we should leave.” This made us feel extremely uncomfortable and we temporarily took the review down until we left.nnTl;dr: this place has slow emergency response, disrespectful staff, dirty rooms and bed bugs. Overall a terrible experience.nnI advise you decide to stay at a better place.

Outstanding location right off the interstate. Still in the country bit only 10 mi. To the nearest city. Clean and exceptional service

Did not stay. Went by for information. Office was closed but the grounds and facilities were very well kept and clean. Nice quiet wooded area.
