Ate here for the first time today after hearing so much about it! Came in right at open (11am), was seated and served very quickly. The sweet tea was perfect, ordered the Catfish. Everything was great! The Cole slaw was some of the best I've had, the catfish was lightly breaded and fried perfectly along with the fries. And the amount of food you get for your money is more than enough! I'll be returning here with my family often! Can't wait to come back here!
Usually I can't catfish because it's so fatty. But Bill's catfish is awesome. I can eat a lot of it. The tartar sauce is great. The cornbread is great. And the wait staff are really nice. You better get here early if you want to see before the crowds come in on the weekends.
Its Frozen food, our waitress even said so when we asked. Fryer oil definitely needs cleaning. Fried pickels were great. Service was great. Clearly this place has a cult following, the parking lot was full and we waiting over an hour for a table. Glad I tried it, but probably won't be back.
Bill's is always perfect. The best part is that they, basically, haven't changed since I was a little girl. Now, I'm bringing my grandchildren. They love Bill's, as much as I always have. Yes, you can go home, again. As long as Bill's is a part of home.
