The imam was very kind. He let us enter the facility and pray even though it was closed. May Allah reward him.

My first visit here, with my daughter. Was here to give blood to the American Red Cross. In teaching my daughter different ways to give of time and self, there was a real silver lining here at this beautiful mosque. While giving blood I was able to listen in on the teachings that day, and the leader spoke about being on a retreat with Christians, and the purpose of this retreat was to learn from one another. He learned on this retreat how much the evangelicals he met gave more in a daily basis (moving to third world countries, giving up creature comforts to help others, building infrastructure, etc.) I was very inspired by his story, and how important it is for each one of us to be more grateful, and give. He was inspiring others, myself included.
