I love red rock. I recently rented a cabin & went for a morning hike. Then stopped by red rock canyon on our way back to okc. If you’re looking for a fun easy hike this is the place. We hiked most of the trails (they have a lot of smaller connecting trails) in about 2-3 hours. The dam was closed we usually walk over that and around the lake back to our car. They do have canoe rentals, horse back riding, & putt putt so that’s a bonus! My only complaint is that I wish the camp fire area at the cabins was better. I love Roman nose & I will definitely be returning this summer!

Have been visiting Red Rock Canyon for 50 years. Great place to hike and rappel. Sad it's not a state park anymore. However, the new owners are taking good care of it.

I agree with others. This is a lovely place for outdoor activity, or just to relax.nnThis is geared to rock-climbers, but on a quiet day it's nice to just take in the scenery.nnWhile you're in the area, make a side trip to the Sod House Museum for a slice of real American settler history.

The trails were amazing but they do not enforce their own rules for the park. Many dogs running free off leashes putting our dog in danger, over crowded campsites, loud partying very late into the night keeping neighbors awake and everything else in between. These issues made for a less than enjoyable trip for our family.

Its nice this time of the year at red rock. Chilly/cold mornings but its made up for with nice hiking weather. Its 20 dollars to camp and 10 additional dollars per bundle of firewood. There is a swimming pool and concessions area. The park is only 10 minutes from small downtown Dinton.
