My husband and I love to spend time in our RV at Roman Nose. We got to spend our anniversary there and visited Foggy Bottom Restaurant for the first time. We were not disappointed! The food was delicious, and the service was over the top! Good grief! I'm ready to go back!

We stayed in the RV campground at site 39 during the weekend of September 18-20. The site was perfect for our 35’ motor home. There was room for a dinghy or other extra vehicle but we decided to bring our bicycles and stay within the park grounds. Our site was very well shaded and flat. The trailhead was just a few feet away which was handy. We loved the trails. They were marked and easy to follow and were in great shape. The weather was beautiful and 80 during the day and about 60 at night. The general store was very close and they offered a lot of fun things to do like kayak rentals and mini golf but we didn’t use these amenities. They were busy all day! It’s a beautiful park and we enjoyed exploring the areas around the golf course and the swimming pool. It’s so much more than what you think, so I highly recommend visiting.

The park is great with lots of recreation areas. The lakes are stocked with golden and rainbow trout which makes for good fishing. The hikes arent too challenging if you decide to bring children. However the cabin we stayed stayed in was full of mouse poop! It was all over the floor and even on the nightstand!

Recently stayed two night here and explored all around the park. It was a top notch experience! The park and trails are fantastic, the resort has really nice clean rooms, and the food was great in the restaurant. So thankful to have come across this place! Planning to go back in the near future!

The park is beautiful & well maintained. My only frustrations are with how little the website tells you about the park and that the camp sites are literally on top of each other. The website had very few pictures & very little information about what a tent camper could expect. The camp sites feel like your are camping in a city as your neighbors are very, very close to you. We are in a setting of 6 camp sites. An average strength person could stand at the site furthest in and throw a rock to the site the farthest away. And, there is a pretty busy road 25 yards away. If you just want to sit outside with a bunch of strangers stacked on top of you it's a nice enough park. If you want privacy, peace & quiet this is not the park for you.
