I am sorry, I can't sing the praises of this attorney. My family has used this office twice. Very first time walking in the door we were told he was out of town and extremely behind. It took nearly two months for completion for land deed. Second time they never started the process of a simple land/ deed transfer from my husbands father; when they had all the information given to them upfront. My husband would keep checking in and it was always we don't have this or we don't have that, or he is out of town again and behind. They had never bothered to start on the work. Please don't let them tell you it was on our end, we provided everything they asked for, very quickly right then and there. Sometimes, going to their office with information I found on GIS myself.nWhen we told the assistant in the office of his passing, My husband was told, Oh I am sorry we never started the process... when all information was given to them a month prior to his passing. If you expect timely service, we never got it... maybe you will...

My sister paid him 6 months ago to do a job he said he'd have done in a couple of weeks. This was in July. Now its to the point where i feel I need to handle his professional robbery with unprecedented actions he wont like.

We closed on our new home with J. Gregory Matthews as our closing attorney. Everything went flawlessly and he simply walks across the street to the courthouse to file the paperwork. Could not have been done faster! Great front office staff, highest ethics and professionalism, highly recommended for anyone needing legal services in Yadkin County area!

Called about a question on a house that he closed on a month prior and talked to someone in his office and she said she'd see that he called me back. Never got a call. I guess after getting his closing costs, he doesn't care anymore.
