I’m visiting down from CT and let me start off by saying I love this planet fitness more than the one I go to up north! The gym layout makes so much more sense than the one in CT, it’s clean, staff is friendly, and they have just about every gym accessory you could need! Ankle straps, padding for the smith machine, workout bands, and more! My gym up north doesn’t even supply any of that and it’s twice as big as the one here:( but most importantly as a women I feel so much more comfortable because the equipment I use is away from the “juice head” part of the gym and I don’t have to worry about anyone looking at me/bothering me. It has just been a great experience here. As a gym enthusiasts I highly recommend this planet fitness!

Gone downhill fast on customer service, was once one the best but now one of the worst ud83dude23nnThe assistant manager at the Wilson NC location started wiping down an elliptical machine right next to my daughter causing my daughter to feel uncomfortable so we stopped to let the woman work but the assistant manager yelled at my daughter and me for not wiping the machine down when in fact we were not even done with the equipment. I remained cool and wiped it down then left . Reported and spoke with manager only to feel like they blame me for what happened.nnAs a United States Marine I go to planet fitness to relieve stress, not to get stressed out and disrespected. I shouldn't have to walk on egg shells because of their bad employees.nnPlanet fitness needs to address:nnMaking people feeling uncomfortable at place where you are suppose to feel no judgement.nnYelling at customers.nnNot observing social distancing themselves.nnNo nomenclature that patrons must sign saying what procedures for cleaning the patron has to do, as black card member I feel the employees should clean.nnNo accountability. ud83dude23ud83dude23ud83dude23ud83dude23

Let me start by saying that I absolutely love my planet fitness in Wilson! The employees there are so kind, helpful and polite. I was helped tremendously when I was had a bit of a hiccup with them. The wonderful young lady at the front was so helpful and went above and beyond to help me out. I was and am still so very appreciative!nnI feel absolutely safe as they are practicing optimal social distancing.nnI will absolutely continue to give them by business. I hope Planet Fitness everywhere are just as awesome!

It was great for a starter gym. After a year or two of lifting, you will probably want to move on. If you have never gone to the gym before or are self conscious, this is a good start.
