We ate here several times during our recent stay in Blowing Rock. We were so happy to find a restaurant where the vegetable selection extended beyond french fries and fried pickles and it was great to find something other than a chain restaurant! Food was excellent, we were able to find several vegetarian friendly menu items, and the staff was very accommodating and delivering extra steam vegetables! They also have a full bar! On successive nights, we received excellent service from Joy, Grant, and Tatum. We also struck up conversations with others on the patio on two of our visits so we know the restaurant draws a nice, friendly crowd! Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and certainly this would be my go-to restaurant if I ever had the pleasure to return to town.

Girlfriend and I went tonight and both left rather disappointed. The food was excellent, all the way around, however: the girlfriend ordered the champagne chicken with the veggie of the day, which we were told was broccoli; it however was mushrooms and corn when we got the plate. Girlfriend doesn't like mushrooms. Oh well. I had the burger, which was top notch for sure. I did think it was rather small and the amount of French fries with it might equal up to half a small bag of fries from McDonald's. Again, the food was delicious, but if I'm going to spend 40+ on dinner, I shouldn't walk out the door just as hungry as when I walked in. Maybe it was an off night, and we have always heard good things. We however did not find that to be the case

I got the $24 orange salmon, it was ok, the portion was small and the vegetables were cooked to long. Shelby was our waitress, she was awesome. My girlfriend got the french onion soup and she had to get it switched out because it was too greasy. Shelby did an excellent job for us switching it out. The people in my party got the steak and they loved it. I know that they were trying to garnish my plate but it looks like 3 leaf clovers I see in my yard.

Don't order steaks or alcoholic drinks here. Came here with a party and everyone was unhappy with their steaks and drinks. Desserts are good here, but everything is overpriced.

Our waitress Shelby was great but the food was not worth the money. I got the French onion soup. It was really greasy and bland. Shelby was very helpful and allowed me to swap that out for a club sandwich which was better. I appreciate her outstanding service but unfortunately the food was not the best.
