We love going to the falls we have been there numerous times plus we love Brevard

The hike was pretty easy, being only close to a mile. We had both kids and adults and everyone did it without trouble. You definitely have to watch your footing with tons of rocks and roots to step around and over.nThere are a couple of different falls, neither of which was overly populated, which was great compared with how busy others were the same weekend.nThe first falls, which is the bigger of the two is a great place to get some amazing photos.nThe second is smaller and is farther up the trail, but is right next to a camp site and is amazing for wading in the water and letting the kids slide down the falls (only a few feet).

This set of falls is accessible via a 1.8-mile trail from the Pisgah Center for Wildlife Education. Since it's not widely known, you'll likely have it to yourself while you're back there – which is always a plus. It's about 20 feet tall, comprised of a series of beautiful cascades. It's well worth the hike.

Just a little ways off of Cat Gap Loop Trail. But you cannot see the gals from the trail. You have to listen for them and find one of the paths down to it.
