Great gym, been going for around 6 months. Has everything I want and need. Staff and owner are friendly and provide great service and help when you need it. All around very worth it for my money. I don't think many gyms could match the quality of this one, especially not any in the area. Will definitely be sad when I have to move away for college.
Has more equipment that I need than planet fitness but overall, it was just a nice area to workout. The staff was nice and welcoming.

After having 3 kids, I was significantly out of shape. I'm down 15 pounds and am now able to run 4 miles without stopping.nnI would like to highlight Ms. Lily in childcare. She's always so pleasant and friendly. When she is there I feel like I'm leaving my boys with family.nnAll the staff has been wonderful and I am so happy to have found a gym that I really love!!
Love this gym!! I've tried several gyms over the years and no gym can compare to Gold's Gym Albemarle. They have all the machines and free weights you could want/need. Even during their busiest times you never have to wait for a treadmill or machine, which is always a plus! It's so spacious you never have to worry about feeling on top of other people while you're working out. Staff is super friendly and helpful, classes are so fun, and they even have healthy snacks and shakes you can buy. You really can't beat this place! I'll never get a membership anywhere else!
