This was my first stop just for fun and not a specific flight training lesson. Fantastic food and service! A great stop for a bite to eat.
We love flying there from Charlotte on Weekends for lunch. It's a short hop and you can park the plane right in front of the restaurant. Decent and varied menu and the food arrives quickly. Nice covered outside deck with view of the airport and a few tables inside also. Clean restrooms. Ron is a great guy and treats you like a VIP. Just remember to bring cash (no credit cards) but Ron will keep the tab open for you until you fly in the next time in case you forget!
