My 1st time using a lawyer with a car accident case. He did get me lots of money. I was told majority went to my medical bills. After a couple of weeks I was still receiving medical bills and some were listed on my credit. I visited his office to find out why. I was told a $5 check was sent to cover the bill. But here's the catch, my settlement was thousands. Why was an undisclosed amount (I still don't know how much) taken for medical bills kept when my bills were so low. Also, I still don't know what his fees were. But its done. Extremely poor communication being that we only talked or communicated when I called. He never called me, emailed me, nada. Rich settlement for him, poor settlement for me! If it were to ever happen again, I'd rather settle on my own. I dont feel as though he helped me, but definitely helped himself! Sn: He was my lawyer for 9 months on a car accident case..
