From the moment you walk in the door, you feel welcome! The staff is very friendly and polite. They have the latest in equipment and plenty of them. Swimming pool and sauna is a plus. You have to experience this place for yourself.

If you live in Sanford, North Carolina you have to give this place a look! They have incredibly fair membership prices and have a sparkling clean facility. The gym equipment is always in pristine condition and they have so many free classes they offer. When you join this YMCA your not just joining a gym, you are joining a culture. This YMCA is dedicated to the personal well being of all it’s members and constantly go above and beyond expectations for customer satisfaction. The staff know almost everyone by name and are always helping members reach their fitness goals.

Hours could be better. If they stayed open till 9 mon-fri and 8pm on Saturday like the Y I went to before in NY I'd be ecstatic. The gym equipment available is quite decent. Enough free weights and machines to make most happy. The staff is the best part. Friendly and positive. They seem to keep the negative energy at home because they are great here. They also haven't given me much flack if I push my workout out at the most 5 min after closing time which is pretty cool. If they addressed their hour changes better this place would be perfect. If staff could inform every arriving member of weird hours that week(including nursery hours), though annoying to do, it would save alot of people heartache. Cause I don't notice the papers. This place trumps planet fitness by far when it comes to equipment and staff.

Love this place! The water aerobics are a great fit for me. They have a great variety of group classes for ALL levels of fitness. And the staff is PHENOMENAL!! Friendly, fun, supportive, great group or individual environment!

Very nice YMCA. They effectively organized their compact space. The YMCA staff are lovely and informative. I love their indoor pool. The women’s locker room is surprisingly pretty. Nice job!
