Homeslice Pizza and Subs UNCG

Love this place! You can get pizza by the slice and they have some of the best hot chips I've ever had. They make their own ranch fresh everyday and if they decide to make the store a little fancier they'll get a five-star rating because they're always friendly and I've never had anything there that wasn't great. Highly recommended!

Have ordered from this location twice now and both times our food took an hour or more to get here. Our food has been cold both times, it sucks because I love the other locations but had to move recently.

Kudos to Eric for going above and beyond to see that I received what I ordered. A mistake was made on my order and he made sure it was corrected quickly. Thank you Eric. I'm so glad to have you just down the street.

Wanted pizza but not a whole one, friend suggested Homeslice. Checked out their online menu, $ 2.75 slice with .35 per topping add ons. Wut a deal. It's in our neighborhood so stopped in & ordered slice of pepperoni pizza, added two xtra toppings. Didn't check it before leaving, got home they had given me a slice that had already been prepared.They threw on a couple of raw toppings & sent me on my way. Not cool ! Just so they know, prepare the pizza, add the toppings, & send it to the oven. I also ordered some battered mushrooms with ranch dressing, they were really good so it wasn't a total bust. Had the pizza been done right it would have been much better, I ate it anyway, don't like wasting $$$ it tasted good, but really wasn't fresh. Don't want to b too unfair so 3 Stars.

In the middle of a pandemic (COVID-19) those preparing food are not wearing gloves or properly sanitizing their hands when handling food. This is a restaurant where you can see the people prep your food, visually seen NOT wearing gloves and NOT washing hands in between meal preparations. I called before placing an order to ask if gloves would be worn (as someone had told me they weren’t) and was hung up on. Missed out on their money. Whether you or other pizzerias are required to wear gloves or not BEFORE, WE ARE NOW IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC. Also if you take the time to see how the manager or store owner responds to people even in the reviews, you can definitely understand why this is not a place to eat at during these times.nnRESPONSE: SO WERE YOU THERE? DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT? I was HUNG UP on LIKE I SAID. No “please hold” or ANYTHING. Did NOT get an answer when I called to place and ORDER. Your ignorance shows every time you respond. Do better or go out of business. I can see you aren’t worried about the pandemic, if no one returned to school, YOUR BUSINESS WOULD STILL BE CLOSED BEING THAT HALF OF CLIENTELE IS STUDENTS? Oh okay! And since you are so pressed about WHY I am in school, it’s because I am completely virtual and do NOT stay on campus. Do your part in stopping the spread by making your employees WASH their hands in between prepping and WEAR THE MASK PROPERLY.
