Revised Post:nnHeck No!!! This is a one man show and the service was bad. I ordered food, which they accepted. I arrived and they said to a few of us, the credit card machine is down. The women said I have a check with which she paid. I said I do not have a check or cash. After a about ten minutes I was told, no food for you then. They had my phone number, I said I would come back and pay later. Nope sorry no food. Never again Chen's Express. Never again.nnEarlier Experience:nI came in at one on a Sunday. Ordered a lunch combo and wings. He said ten minutes. He was cleaning the kitchen, as any good cook would. It is a take out place but all good.
Order take-out from here a lot. Food has always been good. Wings are good. I recommend calling ahead or going online to place your and then picking it up. Delivery can take up to an hour!
We have ordered here for years and have found it to be the best chinese takeout. The chef is always hard at work making orders and the quality of the food is fantastic. Be prepared for a wait if he is busy because he is the only one cooking the food. It's worth every second of the wait!
This was my favorite Chinese food spot in Greensboro. The wings were a big favorite of mine. The problem is the service. On 2 occasions I’ve ordered food, and they said it would take 30minutes. I get to the restaurant to pick up my food 45 minutes after calling in and they hadn’t started my order. There was a line of folks in the restaurant that were experiencing the same issue. I’ve run into the same problem with delivery. They told me it would be 45 minutes and it took nearly 2 hours. Again, the food is good, but when you plan a meal for hungry kids at home this is a huge problem. If they gave me an accurate time to pick up the food, I wouldn’t have a problem waiting to pick it up. I don’t appreciate my time being wasted. Good luck to you and I hope you figure it out. I will not be eating here again.
Love their California rolls! I’ve been coming for years and they are very consistent.
