I was a business owner in Salons by JC of Winston Salem for four years. In my time there they did allow me to move my suite and get a larger suite. Overall my experience was not all bad but there are definitely areas that could use improvement and I hope the management will consider these things to make the experience even better for current or potential tenants.nnFirstly WiFi is very important for owners such as myself who enjoy streaming music and television however the WiFi needs some improvement and would need to be regularly rebooted on a daily basis. It was a struggle especially when it goes out every single day at 3:00 pm for some strange reason.nnSecondly regular maintenance of the suites would be greatly appreciate especially as far as the vents that build up dust so rapidly. In particular my suite had windows that were not properly sealed and when it rained it would come directly into my room through the window and ceiling which cause my stuff to get wet including the dryers which can be an issue. I mentioned this issue and it was never resolved while I was there.nnAll in all if they were to update the payment system or provide a payment drop box, regular maintenance check ins with tenants regarding any issues this would be super helpful. It would also be beneficial to have a visible directory for the first floor lobby guest locate their stylist.nnUpon my departure I did have an issue receiving feedback regarding my deposit and eventually I did receive my deposit after leaving a review and management did eventually respond and send the payment.

I had an appointment to tour the suites to possibly become a tenant. I arrived a few minutes early and waited 10 minutes to meet the leasing manager (whose name I will not mention). I called the office after not seeing anyone, and the lady asked if I had missed my appointment and that she would try to squeeze me in. I told her that I arrived early and was contacting the office because I had not seen anyone downstairs. She was very rude and condescending and told me that I had needed to come upstairs. Once upstairs she barely wanted to help me & told me that she only had rooms for hairstylist (mind you I spoke with her yesterday and she never mentioned that). She acted as if I couldn’t afford the weekly rent and came up with every excuse in the book on why I should probably look somewhere else and even told me to apply for a job at the nail salon across the street. I felt like I was racially discriminated against. If this is how they conduct the initial business, then I dodged a major bullet! I will spend my money with another business who is willing to accept it.

I love this place, it has so many different salon, barber, nail, & esthetician suites. My personal stylist has a suite there, but all of the beauty professionals there are so nice and professional.

Steven Foreman provides excellent service. He is an artist designing hair and color. We are so happy with his service. I recommend him highly. His shampoos are very relaxing

Great Salons and stylists! Can get anything done from hair to skincare here! Hollingsworth is the best Stylist! He can do it all!
