Fishers Landing Campground

Free camping, several spots available and plenty of places to collect your own firewood.. This place has a place to swim as well although it is a bit dirty and the water is brackish..over all though a nice place to camp w family and friends

We stopped for a couple hours to dink around and fish. You can camp for up to 14 days, there are fire pits, tree cover, good views over the river, easy water access (nearly wheel chair accessible except that the transition between path and sand is rocky). Fishing wasn't any good but I'm not any good at fishing so that doesn't matter. Definitely a nice little spot to hang out. The bathrooms exist and are essentially outhouses but they've got doors, walls, and roofs.

Drugs. Booze. Be careful. But okay place. No running water. Keep valuables on you at all times

They have definitely cleaned this place up. When I was younger this place was trashed with beer bottles and cans but they have done a good job sprucing it up. It is a bit awkward going down there and seeing random guys sitting alone in their trucks towards the back of the parking lot? Not sure what kind of shenanigans they are getting into but it's a bit weird.

A nice place to go during low tide. During high tide, there is only enough beach for one family. If interested in going to spend time on the beach, check the tide charts. There is a public restroom, but, it has no electricity, plumbing, or running water. The doors to both the men's and women's restrooms wouldn't close all the way. There was not a trash can in the women's restroom. There was a water fountain, but it was broken. There are a few picnic tables near the campgrounds for dining. The beach has access both by stairs, and a wheelchair ramp.
