Sawmills Cafe

I'm from up North. In today's world of chains and vanilla restaurants. When I moved down here I was looking for the mom and pop places. The hole in the walls I guess, sorry Vicky. Okay here's the bottom line. If you want to go to a place that has great biscuits and gravy, meat and cheese omelets, or fully loaded hash browns. Go to sawmills. The staff is the most incredible staff you will ever meet in a restaurant anywhere.

Small restaurant with big taste! The loaded hash browns are the bomb-diggity. Add in a couple eggs, and you’ll be set for a long morning. Regarding health safety measures, there are plastic liners separating the booths and a plexiglass shield at the register. Employees wear masks properly. Very friendly and conscientious staff. I definitely plan to visit again.

Had breakfast there this morning. Best breakfast in Caldwell County. Very impressed with how they care about their customers during COVID-19.

Very friendly small town restaurant. Very good food. I'll be back many times.
