Papa John's Pizza

This location has the worst customer service! I have had multiple negative experiences with them. As I write this, I have been waiting two hours for my pizza. I called an hour ago and was told it just left the store, which is 10 minutes or less from my house. The person I spoke with hung up on me as I was still talking. There was no apology or offer to somehow make up for the situation. My last two orders went badly, as well. There isn't room to get into all the details but they also had very long wait times, I was promised a replacement order that never arrived, my delivery was delivered by DoorDash instead of a Papa John's driver and there were four people in the car. The driver wasn't even the person who brought me the pizza. This wasn't very comforting during a pandemic that four people in the car without masks may have had their hands on my food. They forgot the drink I ordered and my pizza was ice cold. It's unfortunate that they are the only pizza place that delivers to my house. Even still, I don't plan on ordering from them again. One bad experience is forgivable. Several bad experiences with no effort by the company to apologize or make up for them is unacceptable. I'm still waiting for my pizza. I had no intentions of eating dinner after 10:00 p.m. After writing this, I went back and read some other reviews. It seems this problem is an ongoing theme with this location. I also noticed that the owners only responded to people giving positive reviews. I did not see one response to a negative review where the owner apologized.

Ordered takeout. Mask required to enter store. None of the employees on the food prep line were wearing gloves while preparing food. Sent a message to customer service. Received a phone call late at night from a young man who identified himself as management. Was rude sarcastic and condescending. Told me that the FDA did not require employees to wear gloves while prepping food because it gave people a false sense of security. When employees are wearing gloves they feel like they don’t have to wash their hands. Maybe this “manager” Should share this with all the other fast food restaurants because all the other employees in other establishes wear gloves when prepping food; . Especially subway and Chick-fil-A. This is unsanitary and I will never order food from the store again. Dominoes will get my business.

We live 10 minutes from the store and I keep giving them chance after chance. That stops tonight. We were told 90 minutes and it was 2-1/2 hours. The pizza was cold as usual. When we call to ask where the pizza is they always say it’s in transit and then it’s another 30 minutes. The “manager” refused to give us the owners contact information. So owner, you lost our business today.

We ordered an extra large pepperoni pizza at 6:00, after calling the store twice, and being given no explanation each time as to why the pizza was so late, (we live 5 min away from the store so this was just ridiculous) it finally arrived at 8:20. When it finally arrived 2 hours and 20 min later, the pizza was stone cold and the delivery driver literally bolted down our driveway. Neither the delivery driver nor the people working in the store apologized or offered a discount for their terrible service. Very disappointing and unprofessional. Spend your money elsewhere.

My family and I have bought pizza from this Weaverville location 1-2 times a month over the last couple years. Sad to say that tonight the customer service was very lacking. I was made to feel like they didn't care whether I bought my pizzas from them or not. Fortunately, I have many other choices. If you are the kind of person who spends money where you feel appreciated for doing so, this is not the place for you.
