Banner Elk Lodge & Cafe

We stopped off here after dinner for a couple of cocktails. The ambiance was great and the servers were very friendly and quick. We sat on an incredibly comfortable couch in front of the fire place. We had the area to ourselves and it was very romantic for my wife. This is a very nice place to take a date, or just to wind down after the day.

Good meal good price. It is very clean and comfortable. I didn't know that my waiter was my brother and old friend. He called me bro and buddy. It would be preferable that if he doesn't have a birth certificate to show our common parents that he use a more appropriate salutation.

Highly recommend this spot if you're in Banner Elk. We had a well prepared to ordered breakfast. I had the full stack (3 large and fluffy) pancakes with mixed in blue berries which were fresh, plump and plentiful. The Cafe is generous with their great service, food portions and all nicely priced as well. Try it!

My family and I were up for the weekend and decided to stop in and try The Banner Elk Cafe for dinner on our first night. It was a good thing we did because it was very good! We ended up eating there a few more times over the course of our weekend trip. Every member of our family ordered different meals each time we went and everyone was extremely good! Their menu is very extensive. Something for everyone! Service is great too! Highly recommend!

Tried this place on a whim and really liked it. Two kitchens within the same building which was neat. I had the Crab Cake Sandwich (fried) with pasta salad, my love had the 10 oz DC Burger with fries, and we shared the cheesy curly fries appetizer. They serve everything from sandwiches and wraps to Italian dishes to wings and steak. Very upbeat atmosphere and friendly staff.
